About the Coalition

Following the lead of six consecutive popes, Pius IX through Pope Pius XII, who all saw the writing on the wall, this coalition strives to bring forth the renewal of traditional Thomistic philosophical and theological thought to the minds of Catholics so that we may dispel the confusion and ambiguity that plague the minds of the Catholic faithful today. In order to do this we will strive to bring forth articles addressing crucial issues concerning the Church today, as well as promoting the best traditional Thomistic sources available. This website aims to pull together hours of reading, audio and video material so that Catholics can educate themselves on Thomism.

Pope Leo XIII on St. Thomas

Among the Scholastic Doctors, the chief and master of all towers Thomas Aquinas, who, as Cajetan observes, because "he most venerated the ancient doctors of the Church, in a certain way seems to have inherited the intellect of all." The doctrines of those illustrious men, like the scattered members of a body, Thomas collected together and cemented, distributed in wonderful order, and so increased with important additions that he is rightly and deservedly esteemed the special bulwark and glory of the Catholic faith.
(Aeterni Patris- Paragraph 17)
